On one side, the composition with Odysseus' ship that has reached the Sirens (mythical creatures
that are presented as birds at the bottom of their bodies and as women at the top).
Odysseus is tied to the mast while his companions, having closed their ears with wax, paddle to escape.
The ship is moving to the left. There are six oars while the rowers are four.
The rowers without oarsmen may be attributed to the fact that some of Odysseus' companions have been lost.
At the stern is the rudder, two of the sirens sit on rocks to the left and right of the composition.
She is motionless on the right, while the siren on the left is flapping its wings ready to fly.
The description ΗΙΜΕΡΟΠΑ can be seen. The third Siren flies upside down and is in front of Odysseus.
On the other side are depicted three qupits (ΕΡΩΤΕΣ) flying over the sea heading to the right.
The first on the right bears the inscription ΙΗΜΕΡΟΣ, holds in his hands a ribbon decorated with a meander
and looks at the other two who follow him. They in turn hold a tape and a hare.
The hare as well as the rooster are gifts that the lover offered to his lover.
Next to them there are the inscriptions KALOS.
