Ceramic Handmade Ceramic Peliki (Greek Vase) Depicts Pentathlon Athletes This copy is a private collection that was sold from Christie's Dimensions Height 30 cm (11.81 inches) Diameter 19 cm (7.48 inches) Eco friendly colors. The vase has two performances with athletes. They are preparing for the Pentathlon, part of the Olympic Games. At the side A shows an Athenian athlete ready to throw a javalin next to African. The participation of an athlete in a public place was a privilege that was generally limited to Athenian citizens. The African athlete was propably the son of a prominent African or a high - ranking official. So he was allowed to participate as an athlete according to his socils status. On the other side of this peliki two athletes are preparing. The Pentathlon consisted of five games that took place on the same day. A road speed of about 180-190 meters, javelin, discus throw, long jump and wrestling. This vase depicts preperation for javeling, the length and the disc. Peliki (a type of ancient Greek vase). All packages include tracking numbers. Estimated Shipping Time after Postal Date 5-10 business days for Europe and 8-20 business days for Worldwide.

Customs fees and duties

Custom fees and import duties are not included in the puschase price. Some countries may impose customs to incoming merchandise. 

We have no control about this, please find out the rules from your country prior to purchase. We do not charge additionally for custom fees.

Return Policies 

Our return policy is 10 days from the day of receipt of the customer's parcel. 

All the returns must include original packaging, undamaged, original items, unused and re-saleable condition. 

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.Please double-check the shipping address berore place the order. 

All parcels will be shipped to buyers address, if the address is wrong the package will be returned to us. 

Of course we will ship it again to the right address but we will charge the Standard shipping rates to post the order again. 

Unclaimed parcels will not be refunded if returned.
